Lake Morton is a hidden gem in the Lakeland area. From its relaxing wine markets to our city’s artistic collection, this area is blooming with inspirational sights. The area has also become highlighted for its mouth-watering eateries. East and west is divided by Lake Morton which is a central location for bird-feeding and bird-watching. Families come daily to interact with ducks, herons and elegant swans. The Lakeland Public Library is open daily offering visitors a variety of audio/print books and an internet café. Annually, natives look forward to the Art Gallery walk which is hosted around Lake Morton during the early summer.
