LkldLive, Lakeland’s newest performance venue, is hosting “Swingtime Valentine,” a classic swing and jazz concert showcasing some of Lakeland’s most talented artists. From 8:00 to 11:00pm Friday night, you can let a brilliant lineup of local performers set the mood for you and baby cakes. Tickets are only $20, so grab yours quick!
If you’ve ever visited Mitchell’s Coffee Shop in downtown Lakeland, you know there is absolutely no shortage of delightful treats. This Valentine’s Day, you can enjoy those treats at a candlelit table with your lil’ button. Choose from vanilla cheesecake, chocolate cake, tiramisu, carrot cake, and chocolate covered strawberries to accompany their assortment of gourmet coffee drinks. On Tuesday night, the Polk Theatre will be playing an absolute classic love story that will tickle your funny bone and is sure to tug on your heart strings. When Harry Met Sally is showing at 7:30pm for only $5! You’re probably thinking, “But Connor, what in the world am I going to do for dinner??” The Polk Theatre has you covered, guys. Show up at 6:30pm and enjoy dinner AND the movie with yo’ shawty for only $22! Two birds, one stone.
Feeling a little artsy, crafts-y? Art Centric Studio is having a couple’s workshop from 7:00 to 9:00pm! You’ll leave with a classy wooden wine cart and a deep appreciation for woodworking.
