The smell of pine is in the air, a bright green tree has appeared in the middle of Lake Morton, and Concord Coffee has transitioned from pumpkin spice lattes to white chocolate mochas. We all know what that means: the Christmas countdown has officially begun! December marks the start of Advent, 25 days of Christmas, and many of our other favorite Christmas traditions – and our wonderful city knows just how to celebrate the start of the season: the Lakeland Christmas Parade!

The Junior League of Greater Lakeland is sponsoring the 37th Annual Lakeland Christmas Parade on December 7th from 7-9:30 p.m. This year’s parade, rightfully deemed “A Night in the North Pole,” will set out from The RP Funding Center and travel along Lemon Street, Tennessee Ave, Main Street, around Lake Mirror, and back to The Lakeland Center via Orange Street.

Good viewing along the route fills up fast, so be sure to head out early and reserve your front row seat for the creative floats, holiday music, sweet treats and fun. We’ll see you there!
