Thanksgiving Eve Street Party

November 23rd, 2009 12:40 pm | by Kristy Myers

Looking for something to do with the oh so rare but very much deserved free time provided by Thanksgiving break? This Wednesday, Molly McHugh’s Irish Pub will host the first ever Thanksgiving Eve Street Party.

The street party will be a night of good people, good drinks, and good music on the street and inside the pub. Musical entertainment will be provided by juniper RED and will be their debut performance in Lakeland as a full band.

The party begins at 8pm, in front of Molly McHugh’s on Kentucky Street, and wraps up at midnight. This event sounds like it’s going to be a fun and different way to kick off the holiday season.

The Band was terrible. They took over 45 minutes to do sound checks. I was so excited, because the two guys who normally play were good as a duet, but eww were they bad as a big group! It could have been the rain, but you need to prepare for those issues in my opinion. But, I guess I’m just used to hearing really good live bands.
